Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is more commonly popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract for GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. It was then followed by Days Before Rodeo. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
