Since launching his YouTube channel his channel has had more than 10 million subscribers and more than two billion video views. In November 2017, Le was ranked at 25th place on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart. The Recording Industry Association of America issued his song "It’s Always Night Sis” platinum in March 2018. Le dropped a single entitled "It’s every night , Sis" in 2017 featuring YouTube star Alissa violet. It was a reaction to YouTuber Jake Paul's viral song "It’s Everyday Brother". His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson started uploading videos to YouTube in 2012, at 13 years old under the name "MrBeast6000" and his initial content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos which estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have." He became famous in the year 2017 after his "Counting to 100,000" video garnered tens to thousands of views in just a few days. Donaldson employed his childhood pals to help run the brand after it started to grow. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel surpassed 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
